3 Reasons Why the Quad Lock Car Starter Kit is Trusted by Drivers

Most countries and states/territories have outlawed the use of a hand-held device whilst driving, but allow the use of a smartphone for navigation, music selection and taking hands free calls provided the user doesn't handle the phone.

Our Car Mounts are the perfect solution, as they place your phone within your line of sight (and keep it charged with our Wireless Charging Heads) without the need for you to touch it once you're on the road. This way you can use your favourite navigation apps safely and legally.

We strongly suggest checking the local laws and rules that apply to you whilst driving with your local road authorities as these will differ from area to area.

Unlike our motorcycle mounts, the range of car mounts are a bit more universal, so it depends on your personal preference. Think about where you would like your phone to be mounted.

If you'd like to have your phone positioned directly in your line of sight Suction Windshield/Dash Mount might be the best option. If you'd like the phone positioned a bit lower than that the Adhesive Dash/Console Mount or Vent Mount might be the go!

There are some limitations to where in your car you can install this mount.

The Quad Lock® Adhesive Dash/Console Mount uses a 3M™ VHB 5611 Adhesive which will adhere to smooth, non-textured, non-porous surfaces such as:

• Plastics such as PC, ABS, PVC, Nylon, Acrylic (eg. car dash or console)
• Un-coated glass (eg windshield)
• Metals
• Fibreglass

The adhesive will not bond to the following substrates:

• Rubber, TPU, TPE
• Leather
• Silicone
• Soft touch coating or paint
• Low surface energy plastics such as Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE), Acetal, HDPE

Application temperature:

• Ideal application temperature is between 21ºC (70ºF) to 38ºC (100ºF)
• It is not recommended to adhere the mount in temperatures below 10ºC (50ºF)

Please ensure the substrate is thoroughly cleaned and dry before applying the Dash / Console Mount.

The 3M™ VHB™ is a single use adhesive and is not reusable.

The Dash/Console Mount is not recommended for use on motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, or other high frequency engine vibrations applications.

No, car mounts come with a standard twist-lock head included.

Magnetic and wireless charging heads are not included, but all car mounts are 360-compatible, so you can easily purchase and attach one separately or add it when building your kit.
